Cold plunge
A short, controlled dip into a plunge pool or barrel of cold water — often alternated with the sauna.
Εκτέλεση
- Check the water temperature; a plunge pool usually sits between 6 and 15 °C.
- Get in slowly via the steps or the edge — do not jump in.
- Immerse up to your shoulders, keeping your head above water at first.
- Breathe out calmly and slowly until your breathing settles after the initial cold shock.
- After 30 seconds to two minutes, get out, dry off and dress warmly.
Συμβουλές
- After the sauna, cool down briefly in the open air and breathe calmly before entering the plunge pool.
- In Movepath, log your time in the water; you can log several rounds as separate entries.
- If you feel unsure, stick with the cold shower — that is not a step back.
