The new name is here
Two weeks ago we announced that this app is getting a new name, because Pushup Tracker only describes a fraction of what it can do. Now it is final: Movepath.
The background – why push-ups have long been just one exercise among many – is in the post This app is getting a new name. Here we cover what the new name stands for and what changes for you.
Why Movepath
Move stands for movement – every exercise you track here, whether push-up, squat, pull-up, plank or mobility. Path stands for the way you cover along the way: day by day, streak by streak, from your first max test to the end of a training plan. That is exactly what the app has done since day one – it shows you where you stand on your path.
There is also something practical: the name is short, sounds the same in all nine languages of the app and fits in full under the app icon on your home screen.
What changes
- The name everywhere in the app: In the web app, in notifications and when sharing, it is now called Movepath.
- The address: The app is available at movepath.app. The old address pushup-stats.com keeps working – shared links, bookmarks and profile links stay valid.
- The Android app: It gets the new name with the next update. You don't need to reinstall anything.
- The contact address: You can reach us at contact@movepath.app. Emails to the old address still arrive.
What stays
Everything that belongs to you. Your account, your entries, your streak, your badges, your points, your friends and your running training plans are unchanged – you neither have to sign in again nor export anything.
And the price: Movepath is free and stays free. No subscription, no credit card, no extras unlocked for money.
And the logo?
It stays for now. A new mark that fits Movepath will follow in a later step – better good than fast.
